She began her online career in 2006 as a Community Manager at Landmark Education. Since becoming a freelancer in 2009, she has worked with top names in digital publishing, consulted for global brands, and spoken at major conferences such as SXSWi, Pubcon, and Traffic Conversion Summit.
In 2010, she launched her first online course Lets Get Social and was featured on Fox News as one of the first six-figure social media managers. Kate created the first Facebook group exclusively for Social Media Managers, which now has over 50,000 members.

Through her online programs, Kate has helped thousands of people quit their jobs and get their first clients. She has also trained many successful community and social managers who have become influencers, thought leaders, and have worked for major brands like Facebook or Meta.
Kate has traveled to and worked from her laptop in 30 countries around the world. In her spare time, you can find her dancing salsa or doing yoga at the beach in Playa del Carmen, Mexico where she lives!
